JAN. 25 Team Suzuki's Erik Kehoe scored a victory in the 250cc Pro class today at Marysville's river-bottom sand track. Kehoe beat teammate George Holland by way of a 2-1 tally against Holland's 1-2 score. Kawasaki-mounted Tommy Watts sl ugged it out with Kehoe in the first moto and Brian 6 Manley in the second lO colleCl a consislent 3-5 score, good enough for third overall. The 500cc class was once again a Brian Myerscough benefil, wilh Myerscough ballling againsl Kawasaki rider Mike Fi her in bOlh moLOS. Myerscough aced OUl Fisher Wilh a 2-1 finish againsl Fisher's 1-2 lally. Willy Simons combined good Slans and consislent rides lO reel in lhird place in bolh mOlOS. In'lhe I25cc class, Honda-mounled Rick Ryan look the overall win bUl nol wilhoul a struggle from Ty Davis and A.J. Whiling in the firsl moLO, and a crash in the second LO bring in the win via a 1-3 score. Whiling ended up taking second overall aboard a Cagiva. Local resident Tyson Vohland caplured lhird overall, finishing wilha5-llallv. Rex Slalen once again blasled his Yamaha lO the Vel Pro overall, bUlas usual, had l(}deal wilh Kenny Zahn in bolh moLOS. Zahn look home second overall honors wilh local rider BiI1 Jamerson reeling in lhird. Jimmy Gaddis had his work CUl oudor him, loday, in lhe80cc Expen clas . Gaddis look conlrol of the firsl moLO and never looked back, bUl he fell in the second moLO and had LO work his Suzuki lhrough the pack for second place and the overall win. Kawasaki rider Jeff Emig collecl second honors and Jimmy Bullon PUl a 3-4 Lally LOgether for lhird overall. The firsl250cc Pro moLO of the day saw Billy Frank lake command of lhe firsl lap followed by Mike Larson and Tommy Walls. Team Suzuki's Willy Surrall, George Holland and Erik Kehoe followed in lhird lhrough sixlh place. Coming OUl of the back seclion of lhe course, il was Larson in front, WallS in second and Frank lhird. On lap lhree, Holland blasled around Frank and WatLS, nudging his Suzuki
