FRA and CRC have combined point
sy terns to form a single series in
southern California. While retaining
separate identities, they will alternate
events.
Hopefully the whole family aspect
of the sport will be enhanced by the
neyt FRAlCRC union.

Ri.ding a Yamaha YZ490, Rick Daniels dropped one point to win the
FRA/CRC Frosty Cactus Enduro in Red Mountain, California.

"If I win this, it will be four out of five wins
now on my new Granada Yamaha-sponsored
YZ490," said Rick Daniels. Not only did
Daniels win, but he completely smoked all
other riders at the season-opening FRA/CRC family enduro series by recording the
only one of the day. Daniels said
afterwards, "The first loop mileage
was kind of inconsistent, and being
about 20 seconds late almost cost me
a minute there. But loop two was
great, and I had no problem."
Winner of the 250cc A class and
second overall wa john Ferro who
grabbed a 2.166. "It was a great
course," said Ferro. "I dropped two
and a lot of seconds due to stupidity.
I've been used to an Open bike, and
this new Honda CR250 is sure a lot
easier to ride."
Darren Rivers just squeaked out
the overall loop one honors on his
M-Star, winning the C-16 class at
2.148. Second went to first A Mini
Ryan Stenbery at 2.149 on his YZ80.
Matthew Graef[ rode to third overall
(first Beginner) at 4.238, followed by
Kevin Cleland's 6.291 (first B Mini).
jay Williams wrapped up the top five
by recording an 8.328, second C-16
Open on his Honda.
