Sorg took off first and opened up a small lead. then Myers reeled him in. passing Sorg in the stadium whoops and pulled away. With daylight nearly gone. DEC. 12 The Bremerton speedster, Darell Davis, did it to 'em once again winning both the 250cc and Open Pro classes of the short track held on a well-prepared oval at Clark Co. Fairgrounds. Davis has taken home every money class win so far th is season. In the first heat race of the 250cc Pro class Billy Taylor lOok the early lead ahead of Troy Yeo. Davis and Mall Holden. Within a lap and a half Davis had control o[ the lead and continued to stretch itout. Meanwhile Holden moved under Yeo [or third. At the checkers it was Davis. Taylor. Holden and Yeo. Davis got the holeshot in the main event followed by Holden. Taylor and Yeo. who was losing his brakes. On lap two Taylor went by Holden in turns three and four. Two laps later Holden went down in turn three and was unable to restart. At the end it was Davis, Taylor. Yeo and Holden. In the Open Pro class one restart was required as Rex Fisher got too anxious and jumped 0[[ the line lOa quickly. Davis made an extra eIIort to take the lead on the restart followed by Rex Fisher. Adam Sabedra, and Ryan Fisher. Ryan lOok only two laps to pass Sabedra and brother Rex. With the white flagcomingout Ryan crashed in turn four and Rex had to go wide while Sal'>edra found an opening on the inside LO take over second. At the checkered flag the order ran Davis. who took an easy win, then Sabedra. Rex Fi her and a restarted Ryan Fisher. In the second beat race Rick Mscichowski took the early lead over Aaron Waggoner and Ron Adams. Adams and Waggoner [ought LOath and nail passing each other twice a lap. On lap [our Waggoner ran down Mscichowski and dove under him in tum tbree. pushing Mscichowski wide which allowed Adams to move by ala. With less than a lap to go Waggoner seemed to be in control, but then his engine bogged down for an in.stant and Adams blew by for the win. r---------------• • • I Rex Fisher got the holeshot in the main event [allowed closely by Davis, Sabedra. Ryan Fisher. Ron Adams. Waggoner, and Mscichowski. On lap two Davis slid under Rex [or the lead and Ryan lost the front end in turn tbree. Davis rode a flawless race while Ryan Fisher fell again in turns three and four. He was up and running shortly, but the laps were running out.
