To the competition.
The Baja is no place for beginners.
But then, with all the race-proven technology
we packed into it, our new Banshee is really no
newcomer to high performance.
Which explains why Rod Fowlet; Craig Qmia
and Ray Schooley wererlt particu1arlyintimidated
by the Bajcis L013 miles of-unrelenting nastiness.
1beir Banshee's Monocross rear suspension
and double-wishbone front suspension handled
every bouldet; ditch, dune, stream and mudhole.
While its liquid-oooled 350cc twin- the only
two-stroke twin in any ATV-just kept screamingalong.
They crossed the finish line in 22:50:30,
first in the Open Four-Wheeler class. And the
first four-wheeler in any class.
Behind them came Dean Sundahl, Mike Coe
and Brett Driscoll, on the only other Banshee
entered in the Baja, second in the Open FourWheeler class.
."All in all, the-Banshee's debut made quite
.'

Especially on the competition.
