Parker pounds Stepp Mill SX By Loren Williams DENNING, N.C., SEPT. 19 Kawasaki-mounted Mike Parker totally dominated today's 125cc Pro action at Stepp Mill Supercross. Honda rider David Reynolds and Kawasaki pilot Brian Justice finished second and third. Parker started off on the right track as he easily won his qualifier, and there wasn't much doubt he would do the same in the main - which he did. While Parker was f1 ying around the track up from, Reynolds and Justice were squabbling over second place. But as the final results shows, it was Reynolds winding up in the number two position. Cooter McClure looked to be a sure bet in the 250cc C class after dominating his qualifier. But as it turned out, McClure bumped handlebars at the srarr of the main with Phillip Rice ;md that was it. Bobby Gilbert wound up with the victory, while Rice finished second. Chris Rash settled for third.
