By Michael Green SONOMA, CA, SEPT. 14 Once more "the Motorcycle Unltd.lShoei/Castrol Matchless G50 of Craig McLean pulled off another victory at Sears Point International Raceway, in this, the sixth round of theCVRG Championship Vintage Series. During the first practice sessions it looked as though there would!!'t be any race, when rain began falling. AFM and Sears Point management halted prac.tice and decided to wait it out. After a three-hour delay, it was race time. From the start, it looked as though it would be another Dave Walden benefit race as he pulled his TIOOR Triumph to an early lead right from the start. As for the 250cc class, Green once again pulled the holeshOl with his Ducati, leading the two 10K Engineering Ducati's of Jeff Hecox and Mike Canepa. By turn two, Green was sandwiched on the inside by a 350, thus allowing Hecox LO motor around the outside for the lead. At the entrance to turn six; Green had reeled in Hecox, then following him all the way around to turn II where he was LO make his· move.
