Besides the Majeskis, the Varnes cousins took home a win apiece on their Penn State Cyclessponsored Yamahas, with Kevin lapping the field in the 80cc Amateur final, and Mike going wire-to-wire in the 200cc Expert final. Joe Heberling also continued his domination of the Senior and 500cc Amateur class with another set of wins on this hot, humid afternoon. The long short track course differs from their normal short track course in that they use the las( two turns frolll the scrambles course instead of the regular short track turns. This creates a slight right-hand kink as the curving back straight leads into the final twO turns.
