By Len Breech HANOVER, PA, JULY 5 Led by Dale Gingrich's first career double at Trail-Way Speedway in the 750 and 250cc Expert finals., two other riders also scored double wins. Georgie Price dominated the 80cc Expert final, and held off an early race challenge from Mike Varnes to take the l25cc Expert final on his D&:S Cycles-sponsored machines. Randy Texter took his usual wins in the 250cc and Open Pro classes, although he almost slid out in the second tum just after taking the lead from Eric George but recovered to regain the lead by the sixth lap. Gingrich borrowed the Penn State Cycles 600cc Yamaha for the night and proceeded to put it up in the cushIon and quickly in front of the remainder of the field. Max George spent most of the race in a lonely second spot, while Nick Taylor and Mark Myers, making his first start on a big bike, batlied most of the race over third until Taylor found the slick spot on turn two and slid out with two laps left. After winning the 750cc class by a straight, Gingrich immediately hopped on his Zechman's Cycle Cerner Yamaha for the start of the 250cc Expert final. He quickly jumped off to a several length lead over Dave Duhaine, Jim Haas, and A.J. Ander- son. After another lap, David Reeves moved up to challenge Haas and Duhaine for second. After batliing for the first half, Haas emerged in front of the pack. . Eric George led Randy Texter, Duhaine and Bill Bromley as the 250cc Pro class exited the second turn. Texter took the lead as they started the second lap and appeared to be on his way to another easy win, but he found the slick spot that was somewhere on the second turn, almost highsiding. He quickly regrouped and finally caught George with three laps to go, pulling away to a 20 yard margm. Texter had an easier time winning the Open Pro final from heat winner David Miller. After highsiding hard on the start, Eric Buckwalter came back to challenge Ken Coolbeth for third in the late stages, but Coolbeth held him of[ by a length. Eric George grabbed the lead in the 500cc Expert final from Todd Kendig, Rob Majeski and Lowell Wherley. With 'Majeski moving into second on the next lap, Eric Buckwalter moved into fourth after starting on the penalty line by the third lap, and set up a close battle for third that lasted until the end. During the middle laps, Majeski tried to get under George for the lead, but George kept him at bay and pulled out a 10yard margin, while the battle for third moved up to include Majeski and second. Majeski held on to take second by a wheel. Results 250 AM: 1. Dave Lesnick (Yam I; 2. Ben Mlcha- mer (Ylmt 3. George Fultz (Suz). 500 EX: 1. Eric George (H-Dl; 2. Rob Majeaki (H-D); 3.
