heat and semi LO qua-Itfy for-the main. As the gate went up on the main, Cliff opened up a comfortable lead as the other riders were bunched a pack. After struggling in traHic for three laps, elson and Lazor had made their way up to the second and third spot and began LO close the gap. CliH heard them coming and took a couple quick peeks to see just how much of his lead was left. The checkered [lag fell too oon for Lazor and Nelson givingCliH the win. Mike Buman rode in fourth place with Jim abinger and Ted Fey close behind. CliH refueled and rolled back out for the econd Division main. Pumped up £rom winning the Handicap just seconds earl ier, Cliff wasted no time in getting to turn one ahead of joel Monell, Chris Rudy and the other part of the Colorado duo Bob Richards. No one seriously challenged the determined CliH for first, so the battle ensued for the remaining positions. Monell handed second palce to Rudy as his bike went sour on lap two. Richards finished in tbird. Cliff took his second Division Two main in as many weeks as the finishing order was a repeat of the previous week.
