An extta-special match race pitted
Ingels against Cook with winner to
meet Sisemor for the july 10 meeting
and it was a thriller, as usual. Cook
lined up on the outside for the first
round and just kept riding the wide
line for the win. Ingels did likewise
in round two with the exception of
changing lines from outside to inside
and then taking the outside line for a
nipping win. In the rubber round,
Cook gated a litde wide and Ingels
had a slight lead down the back
suaight, but the Cowboy Kid came
right back with a patented outside
slide that dazzled the fans and won
the chance to meet Sisemore, who has
owned the Match Feature for some
weeks.
