The action wasn't confined to the Pro-Am class as Scou Huff worked his special magic in the Mini and l25cc Amateur classes as did james Setzekorn in the 200 and 250cc Amateur classes. The l25cc final saw Ban Schumlbach grab the holeshot with Kyle Long and the ever presem Huff in hot pursuit. Huff wound up his mount and closed in on the competition. He worked his way up to and past Long and near the end of the race put away Schmulbach for the win. Long held on for third and Doni Holeman fourth. Gary Weill used one of his patemed rocketship holeshots to put his Bonner's Bultaco imo the early lead in the 200cc final, but he who has taken the last few wins in this class at Marshal was not to get this one. Hot on his tail was jim Setzekorn, on a Bultaco of his own. Weilt could only hold 0[£ SelZekorn for the first few laps and then he just tried to keep it close. The duo of Ban Southerd and Troy Mischler had a good fight of their own for third a shan ways back and it was Southerd geuing the nod at the checkers with Bob Collier fifth. The 250cc class promised a lot of action with 18 bikes on the grid. The first heat saw anotherSellekorn/Weilt baule with the same results as the 200ct final. Lined up -alongside on the from row of the final was second heat winner Steve Shank. The 250cc final staned like the 200cc final with Weilt and Setzekorn out in front quickly with Steve Shank and Shawn Wade in tow. The early battles were for the lead, which Sellekorn won over Weill by the fourth lap, and for third, which Wade won by the third lap. Wade had trouble geuing his Honda of( the line in the heat, but got his act together for the final. After he got by Shank he moved up on WeilL towing Shank with him. Weilt kept the gap short with Setzekorn, but seuled for second as did Wade and Shank for third and founh. Scott Rothchild was the first out of the blocks in the Pro-Am final, but his lead was short lived as Kevin Atherton roared around the high side Patronize the ful service Honda r e b .
