I'm not totally stupid. I've attended many drag racing Nationals so I know these folks exist. I know they go to races. Since I didn't have to sit with them at the drag races, I never realized what potential they have to damage the reputation of Pro motorcycle racing. These "fans" are an embarrassment to both the races and the real fans. In 15 years of motorcycling, both racing and spectating, f've met some of the finest people I know. I'd like for my family and friends to enjoy it, too. But at Louisville, my five-yearold son said "Daddy, next time you go to the race. mommy and I will stay home."
