Ewerth took the $1000 Suzuki Challenge, riding his Cycle Nuts and Boltssponsored Suzuki GSXR750 in the B
Production race. Like Hall, Ewerth
kept a close hold on first from start to
finish. Tysor was once again a strong
contender for second, after holding
the position for eight laps. Tysor was
closing in on Ewerth when he hit the
dirt in a hairpin turn landing him in
fou~th for the checkered flag. Having
maintained a steady third, Mike Harth
had only to. keep his momentum for
