Track conditions were perfect today for North Carolina's Honda pilot Keith Watson, who provided spectators with plenty Neeley followed Jones, while Watson was in third after having a bad start. Watson was closing on the leaders when he took a bad fall, dropping him from the moto. Neeley passed Jones over one of the nalUral jumps, but Jones repassed two turns later. Jones pulled away 10 win. While Watson got up. Neeley passed and finished second. Mike Eads was quick off the gate and led two laps of the first Open Pro malO. Watson pushed in second and made his move at the end of lap two. Once in froUl, Watson cruised in for the win. Neeley moved up to take second at the end. Neeley holeshot the second malO, followed by Watson and Eads. Watson passed Neeley and Eads hurt his knee, dropping him out of the race. . Watson took another easy win over Neeley. Chris Wilson won the first malO of the 250cc B class over Robbie Campbell, but Campbell came back 10 win the second molO and take the overall of excitement in all three Pro classes. His wide open riding style took Watson to the front for wins in three motos, and a second and third in two more. Jeff Dodgen was first out of the gate, followed by Mike Parker, in the first moto of the 125cc Pro class. WIn .
