Carriger got the wind knocked outof him and laid on the track motionless for a' short time. The ambulance was summoned, but Carriger slowly got up and wanted to race;he was not allowed to restart. In the second attempt to get the Pro-Am riders 0[[ the starting grid, Carr got the holeshotand never looked back. Bradshaw rolls at Rolling Hills MX By Henry Muller REIDSVILLE, NC, MAY 4 MX Fox/Scott USA-backed Damon Bradshaw and Sandhills Cycles-sponsored Brian McNeill were doub~e class winners at Rolling Hills MX. Bradshaw topped theSr. Mini and I25cc B classes, while McNeill aced four motos in the 125cc A and 250cc A classes. Bradshaw was in lOp (orm in both Sr. Mini motos with Barr's teammate William Mutimer riding smoothly to second over Stacey Barnett. Chuck's Cycle Sales-sponsored Danny Norman traded paint with Kevin Walker in the first 125cc B moto while Bradshaw was trying to make-up for a first lap spill. Walker grabbed the lead for good from Norman while Bradsha:w passed Rany Rowe and reeled in Norman for second. Bradshaw got a clean start in the second race and never shut 0[[ as Walker finished a distant second over Norman and Rowe. McNeill came through the pack and lOok the first L25cc A molO win with Duran Johnson a close second over Twin City Kawasaki's Paul. Jamison and Kevin Austin. Johnson and McNeill had a hard dice going in mot{) two when McNeill took the lead and Johnson pulled 0[[ the track. "It seized," said Johnson. McNeill was long gone and Virginia's Larry Menzel took second over Jamison and Austin. McNeill kept his rhythm going in the first 250cc A moto, pulling a holeshOloverVann Gibson and Glenn Addair..McNeill pulled away as Gibson paced ahead of Addair with Eddy Penny and David McGuyrt arguing over fourth. McNeill won with Gibson and Addair next while McGuyrt won the battle for fourth. Gibson picked up speed and pressured McNeill throughout the second molO as Addair sliced through traHic for third over McGuyrt. Barr's Competition's Steve Addington and teammate John Reel finished ·1-2 in the second I 25cc C moto with Addington taking the overall win via a I-I score over Eddie Addair and Reel. Eddie Addair came back to win the 250cc C class convincingly despite getting heat from Greg Martin in moto two. Martin was second overall ahead of Marty Ausley and George Nortos.
