points behind Burkitt, A hefty turnout of Senior riders made this class a n exciting race to watch. Brian McAul ey was the one to watch , as he gassed his way up through th e field in hopes o f catch leader Brad Nelson. McAul ey jammed into second and caug ht sig ht of the leader, Nelson, but time ra n out, ending his spectacular ride. Nelson held on for his victorious ride, foll owed by McAuley. These two fin ished in the sam e order in the final points sta ndi ngs . Yamaha rider Tom Osborn e spe nt much of the Super Senior class in th ird place. But on the fifth lap , Osborn e kicked ou t the ja ms and passed KTM riders Ron Walkenspa w and Curt Ayres for the win. In th e 20I O pen Rookie Series class, Any Spen cer had to place fourth to secure the class title, but he wasn' t about to take it easy on the track . Martin was never able to get around Lamb, who went on to win, but Johnson finally was able to put a couple of bikelengths between himseI£ and H ayden , leaving Hayden in fourth place at the £lag. .
