·The crankshaft was u work of art with split, roller bearing big-ends (two to ('ach "throw" as in a V-twin) while the design of the cylinder heads was unusual. Eadl cylinder block consisted of a Gist Jiglll alloy waterjackl,t with the cylinder he-dds imegral. Imo the block were screwed the four cast-iron "wet-liner" cylinder bores.
