Despite a day-long driving rainstorm the day before and an
infield that looked like a lake,
the Spring Classic went on as
scheduled at John LaDouceur's Inland Motorcycle Speedway Sunday
afternoon. By day's end, it was currem number three in the world, "Sudden Sam" Ermolenko, who raged
with the fury of a lhunderslOrm to
win lhe main event in round two of
the annual spring series.
