he Kawasaki KX250 gets a host of changes for
2021 but two stand out—electric starting and a
hydraulic clutch.
The KX250 finally joins the E-start world but is one
of the first Japanese manufacturers to offer a hydrauli-
cally actuated clutch system for its 250cc motocross
bike via coned disc-spring technology. Kawasaki says
the use of coned disc-spring contributes to lighter
clutch actuation when the lever is pulled and a wider
clutch engagement range for improved control.
Kawasaki claims the new KX250 is more pow-
erful than before due to many internal revisions
to the engine—especially to the valvetrain, and
