Formula One riders chasing the AMA Grand National Championship in road racing may have to come up w ith a Superbike ride for t he f inal series race at Daytona . By counting both 1 OO-kilometer legs of the Laguna Seca race as separate Formula ' One Nat ionals, the Formula One and Superbike rounds rem ain equal until the season-ending race at Daytona . " W e feel that Formula One riders in the points chase at the end of the season will be able to come up with a Superbike ride for the final round, " said AMA's Bill Boyce. The AMA requested Daytona add a Formula One race in October to even out the series, but the track's management refused. T he 1986 Camel Pro Series sched u le includes roa d ra ces a t Road Atlanta plus Florida 's Sebring International Motorsports Park a nd a seaso n-ending National a t Daytona International Speedway.
