Swa rtz came back in round two to provide the pressure on Arnet from the num ber two sial bu t was un able to ga in the lead and had to settle for the runner-up position. Swartz' 3-2 score gave him second overa ll as Bak er posted a 2-3 sco re for third. Yam ah a ri der Bob Ashleigh p laced fourth for th e da y as Honda -mounted Bill SCOll rounded o u t th e top five.
