APR. 20 T h e second race of a two-night doubl eh eader saw Scott Tyler (Yam) agai n be the domina nt force. in a renacross action at the Oregon Sta te Farigrounds. Ty ler took the 250cc and Open Pro classes. winning the Open class with a I-I but ca u g h t in a dogfight in th e fir st 250cc Pro moto with 125cc Pro winner Jim Anderson. Anderson had a rough time in th e second mota and Tyler went 2-1 for th e win. The largest class was th e 125cc C fin a l. which went to Kent Jensen (Han ). Two qualifying heats wer e needed in th e 125cc C class th at took th e top three in eac h directly to th e main. The rest ca me from a last cha n ce qualifi er which made up th e 12-rider ma in Local rid er J erry Aich er (Ya m) took th e first qual ifier over Suzuki rider Dan Grego ry and Kevin McClurg (H a n ).
