tate me because they can't lake the heat when their ideas are challenged and they are unwilling or unable to change their thinking. And since they both cancelled their subscriptions I am enclosing $45 for a one year's extension to my subscription as well as a one year subscription for my friend Ralph Digian. Even Jensen did something for me as I saved all the articles to give to my grandsons when they are older as a lesson on dope. So Jensen has done a lowf good by setting himself as a bad example and I can assure him that his comments will not be missed. Thank you for one fine newspaper and keep up the good work. CHUCK T ANBERG Azusa, CA Rig Cera Din track racing lost one of its finest comributors recenl1y with the passing of Rig Caro at his home in Red Bluff, California. Caro was instrumemal in the launching of many young racer's careers. His most nOlable being 1972 Grand National Champion Mark Brelsford and brother Scon along with currem Camel Pro National Number Billy Scon of Manteca, California. Caro will be sorely missed by those who knew him and the many young racers he has helped on and off the track. MARTY SCOTT Manteca, CA How not to vote I've just read My Opinion, How to Vote, by Donnetla Carnagey, (Cycle News, November 7). It says lillie of us when we are reduced to voting one way or the other because "the future of your recreation" is our biggest concern. The homeless, elderly and disabled don't maller. The threat of nuclear war doesn't maller. The world we leave doesn't maller. We're only here for a lifetime, after all. What matters is my recreation. I haven't heard any politicians promising to build more road racing courses in California, so I guess I'll just have to vote my conscience. If and when this gelS primed, the election will be over and we are sluck with the overall policies of whoever has been elecled.
