Both riders, however, took a ration of roost from 500cc Pro-class winner Rusty Hannah (Suz), who led both molOS through the halfway mark. O'Neal's Jeff Prievr (Yam) wrapped up thirdplace money with a 4-3 tally beating Tom Engle's (Suz) 3-6 combo. Malcolm Smith's Sue Fish (Kaw) showed the guys how it is done in the 125cc Intermediate class, earning the overall with a consistent 2-2 score. Suzuki Country's Chuck Hart took the first-moto win, while Fish smoked Honda-mounted David Church, Cliff Walls (Suz). and Pomona Valley Kawasaki's Mike Burdette, who had considerable trouhle staying upright in the initial round. Burdette's luck was much better in round two, though, because he didn't crash. Add 10 this the fact that he obviously had the sheer speed to win either moto, and it was a relatively· easy victory. Fish, however, didn't have it so easy. She had first-molO winner Hart to contend with, as he was sixth off the line but soon caught up and pressured Fish to the checkered flag. Experience prevailed and Fish cruised through the checkers in fine shape and with the overall intact. Pomona Valley Kawasaki's Wesley Klein earned the first-place trophy in the 80cc Stock Novice class today with a 1-2 s~ore. Only Darin Green (Yam), who finished the first moto in third, could match Klein's pace in the second moto and eventually passed him before the checkers. Green's 3-1 tally beat Richard Geraghty's (Yam) 2-5, which edged out Michael Loftus' 5-3. Results AMERICA'S IttONTHLY ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE NEWSPAPER ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• o YES!
