Teammale Don Castro finished second ahead of Yamaha-mounted privaleer Jim Evans, with Suzuki's Barry Sheene fourlh. Roberls also rode 10 viclory in lhe Junior/Expert Combined race, where Florida's Ted Benter was lhe c10sesl compelilion. Russian Guennady Moissiev won the 250cc World MOlocross Championship, bUl he and his coumrymen did il Wilh alllheg.emililyof current-day Russians in Afghanislan. The scene was the final round of lhe series in Swilzerland, and Moissiev only had 10 finish in lhe lOP 10 in one of the mptos to secure the lille, even if rival· JarosIav Faita (CZ) won bolh.
