gate, Szilagyi broke for the Insiae of
turn one on the second gate, but was
boxed in with the mid-pack riders.
Finding his year of non-riding telling, Szilagyi worked with his competitors to finish a well-deserved sixth
overall for the night. Jones kept on
track and took the overall with the
night's only I-I score. Robbie Stanton maintained his consistency and
took the second-place brass amid a
real jumbled second motoand his 3-4
score was just good enough. Rounding. out the trophy positions were
Barry Car on and Brian Bean in third
and fourth.
Bakersfield's traveling crew visited
the Dunes and their good old boy,
Alan Pierce. showed the I 25cc Intermediates how it's done with a first
place ride amid the buzzing green
machines. Michael Dawson took his
Kawie to second overall with a solid
ride.
