The first mota, Weak did some battIe with Doug Murray. Murray fell in a hairpin and let Weak by, then Murray chased Weak for a while but developed tranny problems and was forced to pull out. Weak went on to win with a half lap lead over Dan Newell. Newell put in an impressive ride, working his way through the pack after a poor start. In the second mota, Jimmy Lee took the start, but Weak nailed Lee only a few turns later. Mark Boling challenged Lee for second and overtook him by the hal£way mark. Weak again cruised wi th a sizable lead for the win. The 250cc Expert class was really action packed. Don Wipf chased Doug Murray for most of the race, until Murray had a mishap with a lapper, and Wipf flew past. The two were putting on such a show, they lapped all the way back to fourth place. Dan Newell was the only rider to avoid getting lapped by the blazing duel. The second mota, Wipf took the start and Murray was chasing. On the second lap, Wipf lost control in a rocker section and fell, and Murray was so close that he fell trying to avoid Wipf. ewell, who was running third, motored around the mishap and rode hard to win the mota. Murray recovered before Wipf, and they finished econd and third. The three-way tie for first place was broken by ewell's second moto win. Results MINI c: 1. Brian Pinkley; 2. Chad Thieled; 3.
