his second position. Steve Vlahos (Hon) managed to get by Aston briefly, but had to settle for third place in the first moto. Vlahos did a little better in the 250cc motos with a pair of secondplacee finishes. The firsl round had Vohland and Vlahos in the lead all lhe way. The racing was for lhird, a position lhalJoe Wrighl(Hon)earned the ha rd way. He came from the back of the pack to best, Mike Wenzel (Hon) for third place moto money. Wenzel came back LO lead half of the second moLO while Vohland worked his way up from a bad start. Wenzel's DNF in the last lap - after Vohland had breezed by him and Vlahos lO capture the lead - gave the second to Vlahos. Tony Berluti (Hon) gOl in there for third. Randy Losh and his M-Star were the stars of the Open Expert moLOS. Losh grabbed a first lap lead both times out and maintained il to the finish.
