and Zirbel's Yamaha TT500 on lap three to ride in third all alone. Zirbel and Roose ~attled throughout the main with Blagg, Californian Billy Taylor (Yam) and Jack "Bugsy" Booth (H-D) making up a £ront-ofthe pack battle behind the leaders. Taylor and Booth tangled and went down, letting Mark lilian (Han) into fourth behind Blagg. Late in the main, Zirbel got around Roose for good to take the win, his second of the season over Roose and Blagg. Fourth was lilian, followed by A.J. Eschwig (Han) and Garth Mulkey (Yam). The Junior main had the four fastest heat winners side by side going into turn one after the green light signaled the start of the l2-lap race. Fitzhugh (Han), Brian McGonigal (KTM), Steve Pruczinski (Yam) and Tim Stults (Suz) led the opening lap parade. McGonigal rode rapidly in second, not being able to whittle any of Fitzhugh's lead away and seemed content with the position. The action was a Pruczinski/Verl Smith/Dan McDonnell show some distance behind the leaders. Pruczinski rode the race of his career .for third, beating McDonnell, Smith and Terry Wahl (C-A). At the start of the Experts' IS-lap main event, Fay, Campbell and Green put their thumpers into the top three and rode the straight in a three-way draft. Campbell and Green battled up until the halfway point in the race when Green made a pass stick for second. Hurst was on the move - he picked off a massive group of riders that included Wincewicz, Barkman, Word and Pelky to settle into fourth behind Campbell, who would be the next victim. Hurst eventually swooped up to second, but time would be on the leader's side as the race would last only three more laps. Fay paved the way to the checkered flag. Green did get revenge, though, by coming out of turn one and going inside of Hurst to take the runner-up honors. Results EX: 1. Mickey Fay (H-D); 2. Randy Green (Han); 3. Brad Hurst (Tri); 4. By Paul Nielsen BELLINGHAM, WA, JUNE 14 Canada's Robert Parker was the winner in tonight's onemoto contest for the 125cc A class at Hannegan Speedway. Parker took the lead at the drop of the gate, and stayed there for the entire 10 laps. In second and trying hard to catch him was Mark Cunningham (KTM), while Ted DeVol held the third position. On the fourth lap, Cunningham went over the bars in the infield doubles, and was forced to retire for the night. Steve HuntquickIy took over second, and Brad Balmes - returning after a year's absence moved his Honda into third. On the sixth lap, Hunt stalled and Balmes moved into second. Parker kept the dicing duo at bay until the checkered flag fell. When the gate fell for the 250cc B class, 14 riders roared for the first turn. Mitchell Didcou got there first, with Mike Browning in second. The rest of the pack followed in a tight bunch. Scott Wilband moved into second on the third lap.
