I25cc and 250cc Pro classes on his ATK/Orange County Cycle/Lynwood Yam/Dallas Baker/MoLO-X Fox Yamahas; and Honda supported Mike Larson took the Open Pro laurels, winning both grueling moLOS at the fourth round of the Yamaha Gold Cup series at Clarks Branch Raceway in Roseburg. Anderson had to fight off the Larson brothers in the 250cc Pro clas ,with Phil winning the fir t moLO on hi Yamaha uppon/HiPoint YZ. Anderson came back LO trail Mike Larson's Hi-Point/Scotti PJI Honda, winner of the second dusty moLO, taking the overall with a 2-2. Local produ t Rodney Keller (Hon) led the first 250cc Pro moLO, which this year saw shorter20-minute moLOS. Phil Larson came from mid-pack to settle into second on the opening lap in the 24 rider field. Larson made a surprising pass on the long, long downhill to steal the lead from Keller, who dropped back LO battle with early front runners Anderson, Jeff Cropper (Yam) and SCOll Tyler (Yam). Anderson took two laps to work past Keller and soon set out after leader Larson. Larson had Anderson breathing down his neck the next lap, but Larson would refuse to budge, faIling prey only when getting out of shape letting Anderson lead briefly, Tyler, Keller and Doug Lange (Yam) rode in the top five at the half which still had Anderson and Larson battling for the lead, which would pay nearly $200 LO the winner. Tyler closed in on Anderson and Larson LO ride side by side, but it was the duo using their National experience LO ram Tyler back to third, a position he would lose to Keller after unloading. Anderson succumbed to Larson due to a crack in his exhaust and watched the lead slip from his grasp. The moto finish order read Larson, Anderson, Keller, Tyler, Mike Larson and Lange. Announcer Del Long-brake got everyone on hand excited about the second moLO in the fastest class of the day. Mike Larson led brother Phil through the whoop-de-doos with Steve Oster (Hon), Anderson and Cropper holding down a close bunched battlefield. Anderson picked off Oster and looked LO better his firstmoto finish of second when he pulled himself into contention of the Larsons. Mike Larson unloaded in a choppy seetjon of the track which put Phil into the lead and Anderson riding in side-by-side configuration. Phil Larson waved brother Mike by just when it looked like Phil would repeat moLO one, giving Mike the lead over Anderson when dueling to get by Phil. Anderson couldn't catch Mike Larson, who rode flawlessly to win the moto but Anderson's 2-2 finishes gave him the overall ahead of Phil Larson's 1-3 and the5-1 of Mike Larson. 6~I""-~ PIPE PRODUCTS 101 DID RZ 350 PIPES GUARANTEED PERFORMANCE We GUARANTEE that our pipes perform better than any other pipes on the market at any price or we will refund 101% of the purchase price + freight.
