Maki endured and got second with Simons finishing third. There was no contest for overall in the Mini event. Expert Jeff Barbacovi launched his PJ Yamaha into an immediate lead and never looked back. Amateur Chris Lara was second all the way, good enough to win his class. Curt Farrar got the drop on the other Amateurs in the 250 race and scampered home for the win.
