EaLOn's last la'p pas over Woody Strickland earned him the overall Senior win. Pauy Lindell jumped upanddown as her rider, Mike Holbrook, blasted to wins in the SOOcc Novice motos. The Roswell, Georgia, resident said, ''I'll be back for the Winter AMA Series. " Kawasaki Team Green's Rice wrestled Out of the first turn with Brian Stanley and Labau's Beer-sponsored Jeff Surwall for company on the l2Scc class start. Stanley and Rice hooked up ana led the first two laps, then Louisiana's Allan Semar pulled his Yamaha into second. Rice won over Semar and Stanley. In moLO two, Rice threaded through the pack for the win. Jordan, on a Ray Hempstead-tuned Yamaha, picked off Stanley for second and second overall. Stanley said, "Everything worked well except my forearms. They pumped up tight." Reinholt and Rice matched up with'Sinisalo/Scou/Yamaha-supported Kenny Keylon, Louisiana's Scooter Siafford, and Wendell Simmons in the 2S0cc showdown. Florida's Steve Pitts led lap one until Reinholt took charge, with Keylon and Rice on his fender. Rice took out Keylon and two laps later berserked an outside line to pass Reirtholt for the win. Keylon said, "That guy on the Kawasaki (Rice) is good. This is my first race in some time. I've got a lot of things to sort out." Keylon took the second moto lead from Suzuki-mounted Harold Neighbors, but Reinholt and Michigan's Dave Hollis LOok the point on lap three. Rice labored up to third place. "It was my fault," Rice explained. "The rear suspension was tOO soft." Reinholt won over Hollis and Rice. Reinholt found a new challenge in the first SOOcc moto - DG/Hi-Pointl Yamaha-supported Mark Murphy. Murphy led for two laps before Reinholt LOok over and went on to win. Tim Dohm and Ron Dunfee took third and founh, respectively. Texas' Dunfee had a paniallap of glory in moLO two, leading before Reinholt made his move. Reinholt won again, as Murphy drafted in second spot for second overall, with Dunfee, Dohm and Alam Crum rounding out the top five. Murphy said, "This is the Warm-up Series. We have a few minor adjustments to make." Reinholt said, ''I'm happy. I have good support from Honda, so all I • have to do is win."
