The Stevenson Machine/M acki e's Welding/SCRD sponsored Ka wasa ki p ilot took th e victory in th e Silver Cup 600cc Product ion ra ce a t th e Am erican Road Racing Associa tio n 's Riverside meet. But h is efforts were very nearl y in vai n ; he cro ssed th e finish line o n fu mes a nd had to be trail ered back to th e pi ts.
