In a rerun of the first moto, H a nnah im media tely ran away wi th th e mo to, opening up a four second lead by the end of the first lap. Bel1 and Bailey were sti l1 2-3 ahead of H o nda Support rider J eff Hicks and Su zu ki of Ca na da's Ross ' Pederson. Johnson was moving up, but looped out a few laps lat er. H e was carried off the track with a possible dislo- cated hip. Two laps lat er, Ba iley also went down. He quickly remounted and lh:ew off his goggles, remai ni ng in third, Ha nnah was continuing to pull away from BeI1, who was now 20 seconds behind. Wit h three laps left, Hannah had la pped all the way through ninth place, a nd was now 34 seconds ahead of Bel1. Bailey still held thi rd ahead of T ea m Suzuki's Scott Burnwo rth. . H annah waved to th e crowd as he approached the checkered nag, a nd slowly made his way across th e fini sh li ne. Bell was safely bac k in seco nd followed by Ba iley, Burnworth and Pederson . Most of the co rners had developed dee p ru ts wh ich gave Bell a few problems.
