Alterna tin g laps with mom starti ng a n d finishing with sons hotlapping in between saw th e team ' o f T on y and Weise Mercier besting the field . Huffer, 'chiho, Bush win Ascot 125cc Juniors By Tom Corle y GARDENA, CA, MAY 4 Since th e opening of Continental Motosports Club motocross a t Ascot there has been so many 125cc Junior riders that th e cl u b has o rga ni zed u p 10 three d ivisions o f thi s most pop u lar cla ss. First pl ace troph ies were a warded to Arthur Huffer, Steve Ichiho andJ ohn Bush. Last season the winning est Mini Intermedi at e wa s Arthu r Huffer, but this yea r he is o u t to be th e ch ief of th e l25 ccJun ior s. Huffer took hi s second mot o rcycle victory at Asco t in th e 125cc Jun ior divi sio n one class. . In the ope n ing mot o John Posca pl a yed th e leader th e ent ire time. After h is positi o n were T erry Rh od es, Ch ris Sestich, fro m the Roost Factor y, a nd th en H uffer. Sest ich kn ocked newcomer H uffer do wn one pos itio n by pa ssing h im on the back sectio n o f th e co urse.
