Honda's advanced XR engine powers Garth Brow to his
third Indoor Ice Racing Championship.

Hyou polled the top ten racers in the Indoor Pro
Ice Race Series, you'd disrover something amazing.
Nine ofthem rode motorcycles powered by
XR250 engines.
One ofthem didn't.
Which turned out to be very bad luck-for the one
that didn't. Because he happened to finish behind
the nine that did.
Thenagain, maybe itwasn't luck. Our XR engines
have already earned areputation for winning inevery
kind of racing from dirt track to enduros. And with
their overhead cams and sophisticated four-valve heads,
they not only deliver great peak horsepower, they
deliver more power and torque all along the powerband.
Which makes them the perfect choice for the aspiring racer. Whether
you're racing on dirt, sand, rocks or ice.
Of course, if you need a further testimonial, just ask the happy individual
on the right.
. His name is Garth Brow and he's just won his third consecutive
ice racing championship.
He'd probably tell you that the odds of winning an indoor ice race with anything but an XR engine are very
bad indeed.
About 9 to 1.
