Most of the ride rs out for the weekend felt the ru n was cha llenging, while still offering som e real good tricky stu ff. One of these sections was th e last check of th e seco nd da y, wh ere 36% of th e riders burned it (arrived early): Firs t B in th e ru n was Mike Jones , wh o dropped 14 points, four of th em ea rly on es. Mike ended up 15th overall. In th e 200cc B class, Rusty Adams posted a score of 20 to take th e top honors. Roundin g out the top 10 were John Spigo t, riding a n IT Yamaha to thi rd overa ll ; Ri ck Daniel , also a 250cc A, fin ished just a few seco nds do wn fro m Spigot. First 200cc rider was Bill y Ful mer J r., followed by first Ope n J on Miller. Harry Keast once again top ped the Sen io rs, with Ron Fry once again taking th e bri desmaid honors. Big Tom Getzfri d out did th e CanAm of Larry Woodruff for the fourstroke tro phy. Larry was right in there, bu t burned a check.
