Dean Sundahl proved it byburning up the Astrodome track
for first place in the 250 class. Followed closely by Mike
Coe and Bobby Poe onmore ofthe same.
Meanwhile, MarkWeixeldorfer piloted a smaller
Honda to the 200 ccvictory.
Afew weeks later, Sundahl teamed with
Weixeldorfer and his ATC®250R-based machine
to do it again. This time hurdling more than 250
miles offields, washes, rocks and cactus in the
San Felipe 250.
Mike Chester and CurtisSparks took second
despite a flat tire and Wes Arnold solod forthird.

five spots.
