Ziuerkopf quickly extended his lead while Greenway and Mazzacane battled over second. By the third la p Mazzacane had managed 10 dive by Greenway, overtaking the second spot. Ziuerkopf ran away with the win followed by Mazzacane, Greenway and Jack Scou (Yam). As the pack headed into the first turn at the start or the second moto, it was Greenway who stuffed his Kawasaki into the lead pursued by Scott, Mazzacane and Zitterkopf, Entering the second turn Mazzacane slid out, handing third to Zitteropf. Ziuerkopf took over second when Scott pulled orr the track. Soon Zit terkopf was ja mming righ t down o n Greenway's rea r render, but G reenway he ld o n to h is slim lead. The two leaders were ha nd le bar to handle bar as th e y bo u nced through Corona's supercross whoops, but Ziuerkopf could not rind a way past Greenway. Ziuerkopf did rind a way after he rammed his Yamaha by Greenway through a tight S section. Zitte rkopf then set tled down and len gthen ed his lead right to the finish . Greenway took second while Mazzaca ne held on to third, just ahead of Jones. In tonight's high school action, Upland took a narrow six-point advantage 10 capture the win over Moreno Valley, 168-162. In the first moto of the 500cc Senior class it was Moreno Valley's Ken Campbell (Suz) who rocketed into the lead in front of teammate Brian Griewe (Kaw) and Upland's Pat Weber (Suz), The three leaders never gained more than a bikelength on each other, but Campbell held on to take the narrow win. 'I n moto two it was Weber who grabbed the holeshot, followed by Grieweand Campbell. Weber extended his lead while Griewe and Campbell fought over second. The two were neck and neck, bu t Griewe managed to hol d back Campbell 's ha rd charge. In the end, Weber easily took the win fo llowed by Griewe and Campbell. In the 250cc Senior class it was Griewe who captured the overall victory after he placed third and first. Two consistent seconds gave Campbell second overall while a first moto victory and a second moto crash cornbined to give Weber third.
