Since they'd been in the motorcycle business seemingly forever , they were able to tinker with the Odyssey by applying their knowledge. . Electric starting was the way to ~o . Since Ya~aha had a 125 ~nduro WIth an electric starter, they quickly bought all the components and started to apply this to their Odyssey. However, due to lack of horsepower, the starter was unable to crank the motor. After many unsuccessful attempts, the starter went up in smoke. Bosch IS where the next starter system came from .
