Morton had to worry about lito who even tuall y caught him a n d worked by as they were going around Webco Hi ll. l i to started to tire, and this was good for Nye who was moving up closer and closer till he made the pass o n a downhi ll. Nye took the first wave of th e fin ish flag and lito and Morton followed. Chri s Lara took h is new Suzu ki to an ave rage fifth place fin ish in th e fir st m o ta but surp rised th em in th e final mota. Lara took th e wi n while th e o ther top ri ders wer e crashing. Morton was in second till Lance Smith passed h im , and this made up for Smith 's fir st mo ta crash. lito wa s fifth at th e start bu t fell on th e 'fi rst lap. Nye slid ou t on a down hill and lost at least four posi tions. H e wa s d e ter m in ed to win and started maneuveri ng by ri ders a nd passed two o n the fini sh str aight. Lara had th e clean win over Smi th and Nye. Nye didn 't lose ou t wh en the scorers added up th e total points.
