Holland over the Feb . 5-7 weekend. with concrete surface speedway. indoor motocross, plus sidecar motocross and trials demonstrations. In the team speedway competition, a four-man U.S. squad comprised of Dennis Sigalos, Gene Woods . Dubb Ferrell and David Simms (the latter two making their European debut) defeated Danish, British and Rest of the World squads. Ferrell was the leading scorer with nine, followed by Sigalos (7). Sims (7) and Woods (4) . In an open meet held the following night, Denmark's Hans Nielson was the winner with 15 points while Ferrell, Sims and Sigalos tied for third with nine. Two-time Daytone 600 winner Dale Singleton and his attorney Arthur Ian Coleman. a motorcycle enthusiast who worked in the Hollywood film industry. called to say he's putting the last touches on a documentary on observed trials called Trial by Stone. Coleman spent six months following the National and ATA trials circuits, filming on professional color negative film at his own expense. Expecting to have a working print in about a month and a half.
