Church got by for the lead as Williams got roosted by I25cc pilot ' Earle, having trouble getting around th e determined rid er. At the half it was Williams putting th e power to the groun d ah ead of Earle, who got by Church when he again fell , being pinned underneath his 125. and Light, who slid by but was just as soon reeled in by Church who was on the move . Earle was long gon e as was Willi ams . Leading th e 250cc In termediate mayhem was Obie who worked his way ar oun d Wurn; Sams did the same to move to second. Overall it was Earle for a double moto blitz , Church (2· 2) and Light (s-s), all consistent. Last but not least was the I25cc Taylor Intermediates. Dwayne (Eugene Hon) puts in faster laps than all th e Pros who have ridden here. T aylor stretch ed out his lead and styled to take the win over Lonny Sayles (Yam) an d j eff T oedtmeir (Suz). Moto two, T aylor again disappeared and sprinted away over Rick Gund erson (Suz) and Sayles. Gunderson faile d to reappear next go 'round lett ing Sayles into second to the flag . Cahors sta rted to pull a lead as Page dropped to fo urth. Perreault had ta ke n ove r second w it h Chris Lance (Kaw) clai mi ng third . Cahers kept h is lead to th e checkered, tak in g th e moto wi n. Page came back to ta ke th ird beh in d Per rea u lt. The seco nd moto got underw ay with Kevin Field s (Suz) pulling a hole shot. Cahors a nd Dan H annah filled in for secon d a n d third. Hannah rode smart and soon ove rtook Ca hors for seco nd but still had a wavs to go to catch Fields. Fields came in w ith th e moto win with Lance a nd H a n na h taking second a nd third, respectively. The 250cc Interm ed ia te Division one powered off the line with Bill Glore puttin g his Husky to work as he grabbed a n early lead .
