Northern california-Northern NeV8da.()regon-Washington-ldaho-Utah-AIaska-( laps later, Thornton yielded to Hall and finally Tyler. Round two started off Anderson, Cropper and Thornton. On lap two, Cropper laid it down and was last going. Jeff stated that he has fallen more in his few appearances at Woodland than he has all summer. He'll figure it out in self defense because he has found out that clawing his way through the pack isn't ;all that easy. Up front, Anderson was alone again, but Thornton and Tyler had a tight battle going for second. Tyler had taken over, but Thornton was right on him when they came over the jump coming out of the woods, and Thornton pulled a horrible high side. His first comment was, "I bit my tongue." (We all know it would be a disaster if Stacy couldn't talk.) Tyler held second, and Hall was third at the flag. ' Anderson's performance in the 250cc class was almost a repeat. He was led briefly in both motos by Rob Watilo (Yam). Watilo got the scratch in the first moto. Anderson took an inside line to move by in one of the tight sections, but the line ran out, and Rob was by again. Before the lap was out Anderson found a workable pass and was gone. Eric Eaton (Mai) held third off the line but went down and had to really work to earn an eventual second. Watilo held thir4 at the flag. Anderson led the second moto for a lap, but Watilo was in front on the second loop after Anderson took a side trip off the course. By the next lap, Anderson led again and was off. Eaton scratched at the back of the lack but made it to third in one lap an went by -Watilo two laps later. Eaton came back to dominate the Open class. Results MINI JR: 1. Mlkl CrlllIWII (~; 2.
