KTM is talking to several riders for the coming season, but won't have any commitments from riders until Decamber. Mark Barnett stayed in California after the final Trans·USA MX Series round on October 18 and had a doctor take X-rays of his stomach. "It's not that big of a deal, it just hurts when 1 ride," said Barnett. Former Grand National Champion Gene "Burritto" Romero is undecided 88 to whether or not he'll race next year. Alabema last week. Although the side plates hide most of the engine, the bottom end is the first giveaway that this isn't your usual Harley. Close examination of the photos reveals exhaust pipes exiting the front two cylinders and exhaust pipes from the rear pair near the rider's feet. There's an air filter located where the fuel tank would normally be, and a horizontally mounted radiator receives air from a pair of air scoops. Gas tanks are obviously mounted on the sides, under the seat. 3
