da-Nonhern California-Northern Nev. In celebration of our 1,2,3 standings in the AMA National Enduro Championship, had a new scoot for the day with a well prepared 370 Can-Am from John Jorgensen. The kid did the trick riding around the competition to a very fine win. Carrillo held second on the Cycle Center Honda with Podergois warming up for the Junior Invitational at San Jose in third over Boyles and Kevin Hugill. The featured event for these 20 odd years has always been the Open Expen class where big names on a perpetual trophy include Rick Graham, Rod Spencer, Bud Robinson, AI Kenyon and many others. The new name on the list will be Keith Day who rode a superb race on theJirn Chisum HarleyDavidson. Keith didn't have very good luck in the 2505 but was way out front for this event. Rocky Robinson appeared to have second going until the last lap when he didn't come around, and second went to another name out of the past, Paul Bostrom. Paul rode his Triumph very well for both heat and main, and the immaculate looking 650 TR model sounded great. Kenny Netto brought in the Yamaha of Salinas/Jeff Buckner model for third.
