"Super" Surber wired the holeshot and proceeded to leaft the competition to battle for second. Surber's perfonnance was awesome, leading the entire moto as "F1uid Fonn" rode to a quick and consistent second, while "Magic" Mike came from behind for third. Overall it was Surber. Sullivan, Clement, john Bench (Suz). Terry Tinney (Suz). Steve "Pacer" Pate (Suz) and Kansas' Steve Hendricb(Yam), who rode hard in rouDd two for a fast founh behind Clementi.
