Every year the readers of Motocross
Action magazine select a rider they
feel most deserving of the prestigious
Rider of the Year award.
For 1981 it belongs to Team Suzuki's
Mark Barnett.
It's no wonder. He's had an amazing
season so far. First. by winning the
Supercross series. Then. by capturing
his second straight 125 National
Championship. He did it by winning
every moto he entered in the National
series. A perfect 14 for 141
Congratulations. Mark. You're the
rider of the year in our book. too.
