." .. Hansen dusts competition w · e Honda sweeps. 00 en Donnie Hansen and Honda teamed up to make short work ofthe CMC Four-Stroke Championship at Carlsbad last weekend. And made a mess ofthe competition doing it. Hansen turned in a pair offirst place finishes in the Open Pro Class on his Al Baker-prepared, XR5QO-engined machine, the second moto win coming on a wire-to-wire holeshot romp. ,,.~.... Meanwhile, Marty Moates and David '. Gerig took second and third overall on their Hondas. The 500 Pro Division went to Lance Moorewood, also on a Honda. Richard Bough, Brian Fry and Brian Showalter swept the 500 Intermediate Class on their Hondas and John Kearney, Richard Williams and Lee Dodge grabbed the top three spots in the 500 Junior Class.
