w · e Honda sweeps.

Donnie Hansen and Honda teamed up to
make short work ofthe CMC Four-Stroke
Championship at Carlsbad last weekend. And
made a mess ofthe competition doing it.
Hansen turned in a pair offirst place finishes
in the Open Pro Class on his Al Baker-prepared,
XR5QO-engined machine, the second moto win
coming on a wire-to-wire holeshot romp.
,,.~.... Meanwhile, Marty Moates and David
'.
Gerig took second and third overall
on their Hondas.
The 500 Pro Division went to Lance
Moorewood, also on a Honda. Richard Bough,
Brian Fry and Brian Showalter swept the
500 Intermediate Class on their Hondas and
John Kearney, Richard Williams and Lee
Dodge grabbed the top three spots in the 500
Junior Class. All on Hondas.
Which proves one thing. When it comes to
four-strokes, you can ride a Honda and
clean up, orride something else and take abath.
